IPI (Iso-electric Protein Isolate) is an instantized anti-catabolic protein isolate. This rare and unique protein is a great choice for a time-released protein that can be utilized for use during the day and right before bedtime.

IPI started out with the best pasteurized skim milk and cheese whey. It then underwent protein isolation under a combined technique of ultrafiltration and iso-electric precipitation. Once complete, it was then Spray dried for instantizing (mixability) and agglomerated. Due to this rigorous process, IPI has excellent powder characteristics: low dust and great dispersability in liquid. IPI has a bland, clean flavor and light milky aroma. With a ratio of casein/whey protein of 80:20, IPI has a protein content of about 90% and calcium 1.3%.

    Hmm, this stuff has been out for a while but no one has ever reviewed. Well, I'll add my $.02...I love this stuff. It tastes great, mixes well, and is very versatile (has fast+slow protein sources).

    This stuff is pretty good. My formula is 80% IPI and 20% Super Bovine, aminogen and stevia. This powder has a pleasant, clean taste to it. It is clumpy and clingy as powder, but mixes quite well with a spoon and a small amount of effort. The drinks have a nice mouthfeel to them, like a thin shake at 50g powder to 12oz water or milk. No digestive complaints either. Try it out!

    IPI seems like an instantized (easy to mix with spoon) version of MIC (micellar casein) to me.

    Love this stuff!! Just got my order the other day, and I picked up 1 lb (unsweetened, unflavored) to try out. This may be my new favorite protein at PF. Mixes great, tastes great plain, and the 80/20 casein/whey ratio makes it great for anytime of day. I make an MRP of 50/25/25 IPI/EFA/Instant OatMuscle, or a pre-bedtime drink of 80/20 IPI/EFA.
