Muscle Shake works by providing your muscles with super high quality beef protein from New Zealand. So it’s like drinking a steak.  Steak builds muscle more effectively than any other food on the planet. However, it gets better.  Muscle Shake is pre digested.  Meaning enzymes have been added to it to make it digest super easy, super fast, and super effective, helping you build muscle even more.   Oh yea, taste is unparalleled.

Supplement Facts

The beef protein powders on the market today are garbage.  Literally, I would NEVER use any of these beef protein powders on the market.  You’d be better off eating a McDonalds cheeseburger or close to it.  Let’s take a look at one of the most popular beef protein powders today.  It has a bright red label.  Here is what sucks about it

a.        It’s a food, not a dietary supplement.  Meaning it has a nutrition facts panel instead of a protein supplement facts panel.  Companies do this to circum navigate protein lab tests like identity, purity, strength, and composition.  It saves them lots of money and increases their profit, all at your expense.  Meanwhile you don’t truly know if the product meets label claim.

b.      It’s protein spiked.  Meaning they added creatine to it to “fool” the protein test.  You see creatine tests TWICE the amount on a protein test.  So they can remove a lot of the beef protein and add creatine (which is typically cheap creatine from china) and add this to the protein grams.

c.       It contains hydrolyzed gelatin.  This is a complete supplement CRIME in my book.  Do you know what hydrolyzed gelatin is?  Its freakin pig by-product.  DISGUSTING.  How or why they would put this in there is beyond me.  Secondly to make matters worse, it has a ZERO biological protein value.  ZERO.  Meaning you consume it and NOTHING gets absorbed!!

d.      It says hydrolyzed beef protein but you don’t know the molecular weight average.  THE most important thing when buying a hydrolyzed/pre-digest protein is that you know just how small the peptides are.  The smaller the better, and the faster the absorption.  If a company doesn’t tell you how do you know?

You don’t know where the beef comes from.  Does the beef come from China? India? USA?

Here are more reasons why the competition sucks.

a.       Its says hydrolyzed beef protein but you don’t know the molecular weight average.  THE most important thing when buying a hydrolyzed/pre-digest protein is that you know just how small the peptides are.  The smaller the better, and the faster the absorption.  If a company doesn’t tell you how do you know?

b.      You don’t know where the beef comes from.  Does the beef come from China? India? USA?

c.       Also they ADDED rice protein to it!!  WTF..its supposed to be beef protein, not rice protein!!  They should call this product beef and rice protein.  Most of the time rice comes outta china which is GMO made!!!

d.      It’s mis branded.  Remember, we are protein manufacturer experts.  These guys are just marketing experts..therefore they do NOT know how to label their supplements and let me explain why.  As you can see they call their beef protein a dietary supplement, not a food, like those other idiots above.  However if you call your protein a dietary supplement you need to list the protein INSIDE the supplement facts panel.  However they don’t.  They leave it out because they don’t want you to know how much rice protein they are using.  And I tried to find out and went to there website and I cannot find a customer service number ANYWHERE. Surprise surprise!  A protein supplement facts panel should look like this.  See how the protein is INSIDE the supplement facts panel so you know exactly how much protein is used.    In addition FDA labeling guideline REGULATIONS do not permit ZEROS in the supplement facts panel.  As you can see zero grams are inside the supplement facts panel. Clearly this company staff are not experts in supplement manufacturing.

Beef protein vs whey

Advantages of beef protein vs whey

  1.  No allergies.  If you have allergies to whey then beef protein is a great choice.  Beef is a non-allergen
  2. Moderate digesting protein.  Beef digests slowly.  Providing more of an anti-catabolic slow release of amino acids
  3. Muscle Shake is pre digested making it very easy to digest
  4. No milky taste
  5. mixes superbly compared to whey.
  6. Combine muscle shake with whey protein for an anabolic/ anti-catabolic effect

In conclusion,  when comparing beef protein vs whey protein, both are very good to use.  The best is always to combine the two to form the best protein blend.
