WHAT TYPE OF PROTEIN IS USED IN EACH FLAVOR ?
We use a premium blend of whey concentrate/isolate and casein in each flavor. We use a blend because it disperses very evenly with mixed with all of the other ingredients and it absorbs the oil from the ground peanuts better than using one or the other. This blend allows for an even distribution of protein throughout the product. There is no clumping or sediment and no gritty taste from unblended protein that sinks to the bottom like the other peanut butters on the market.
WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF PROTEIN PLUS PEANUT BUTTER ?
The shelf life is 8-10 weeks outside the refrigerator and up to 6 months if refrigerated. Shelf life is less than the store bought brands because I use zero preservatives and do not add in any oils containing saturated fat. Again, there are no added fats or impure ingredients to our product.
