SARMS How Much?  How Long?  How Good?

To anyone who’s considered what it’s like to be “anabolically enhanced” nothing has gained more popularity in recent years  than SARMS.  They’re essentially the “in-between” choice between natural testosterone boosters and steroids.  Interestingly, they also hold an “in-between” amount of side effects.

SARMS appear to be safer than steroids  — for the most part. (The risk to benefit ratio may actually slightly in favor with some steroids) The very nature of the substance is that they are “selective”, hence the definition “Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators. That’s a mouthful of science mumbo jumbo that essentially means it “selects” the positive effects of testosterone without imparting all that testosterone does to the rest of the body. (Which may not be all that bad, because along with the bad side effect of testosterone there’s some good beyond becoming more muscular. But that’s another topic for another time).  Nevertheless, by providing the benefits of traditional androgenic steroids while showing a lower tendency to produce unwanted side effects, SARMS winds up in a unique class of molecules currently under development for the treatment of a variety of diseases that were previously treated with other medications, including anabolic steroids.

SARMS, like ligandrol and ostarine, have been around for a while but technically are still in the “development” stages. Self-appointed experts and internet gurus aside, it’s still uncertain exactly howthey work and what potential risks they hold.

In simple terms, the Androgen Receptor  is the cellular “key” of sorts to which androgens will bind . This bound chemical and androgen receptor then  travel to the cell’s nucleus, where a “gene transcription” is induced . In other words, that’s where it does it’s thing!  It’s basically exerting the effects of an androgen without it being androgenic. That , in turn, also spurs anabolic activity. i.e.  more muscle!

That explanation either clarifies the methodology or makes it more confusing. No matter.  You get the idea. They work.

One glaring misconception about SARMS was that they did not cause suppression to natural testosterone production. Being “selective” in nature, they shouldn’t.  But they do.  And a PCT is needed after a cycle.

Another especially confusing aspect to SARMS use is the introduction of several types. As is the case with any set of options some people will swear by one while others will dismiss the very same thing.  It comes down partly to taste, partly to what worked at a given time and partly to what people have convinced themselves is better or worse.  That is a cheeky way of saying everybody’s guessing and there is no set rule of what is best.

Keep in mind, 30 years after steroids became more “mainstream”  (with the release of the Dan Duchaine’s Underground Steroid Handbook  people are still arguing the advantages of one steroid or another and how much should and could be taken and how effective and/or how dangerous they are).   There is no absolute consensus.  But there is such a thing as being rational.  As with any endeavor that brings a certain amount of risk, it’s always best to err on the side of caution. Test the waters.  Take less than is recommended and see what it does. Then take it from there.

Here’s an example of what many feel is an effective dosing plan for the most popular SARMS products.

For bulking: (To be used from 6 weeks for a beginner, up to 12 weeks for a more advanced user).   Any of these substances fill the bill.

LGD-4033 (ANABOLICUM) 10 MG per day

S4 (ANDARINE) 50 MG  daily

MK-2866 OSTARINE) 25 MG per day

BTW for the best and highest quality SARMS..check out SAF Research

For cutting (Following the same 6-12 week protocol) Here are the ones that are reported  to work well.

MK-2866 (OSTARINE) 25 MG Per day

S4 (ANDARINE) 50 MG per day

GW-501516 20 MG per day

………………………………………………..

For general anabolic enhancement:

MK-2866 (OSTARINE) 25 MG per day

LGD-4033 (ANABOLICUM) 10 MGper day

GW-501516 (CARDARINE) 20 MG per day

S4 (ANDARINE) 50 MG per day

These are only “theoretical suggested dosages and in no way are we advocating, recommending or endorsing the implementing of such compounds.  Keep in mind. They are technically just for “research purposes.”  If you mess yourself up and wind up in the ER and tell the doctor that you took too much SARMS he either won’t know what you’re talking about (and won’t know how to help you) or he’d wonder why you took research chemicals designed for lab rats.  Caveat Emptor.

If you do decide to use SARMS one of the best way to make the most of the cycle is to make sure your ability to release your “free” testosterone is as high as possible. In that case, using the supplement UNLEASHED is a must.   It also makes sense to use UNLEASHED as a PCT aid to help restore natural testosterone production.   Don’t start a cycle without it.
