What is Andarine (S-4)?

Andarine is a brand of selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM). The full name is S-40503 but called S-4 for short. The product was manufactured by Kaken Pharmaceuticals, a Japanese pharmaceutical company, for the treatment of osteoporosis. SARM comes in different versions with the stronger version called Andarine and it happens to be my favorite of all SARMS in the market today. For us in the bodybuilding world, Andarine is a choice for the optimum result in the practice. Though not allowed in competitive bodybuilders’ sports as they erroneously thought it’s comparable to steroids like Winstrol or Anavar this is untrue giving its aesthetic effects on a builder’s physique.

How Andarine works

Questions as to how Andarine works has been asked quite often over the years. Andarine binds fittingly to the androgen receptors of our bone and muscles. It is unimpressive, though, when it comes to building pounds upon pounds of muscle as Trenbolone would, but it is fantastic on losing fat. How is it able to help with fat loss?  It does help with fat loss because it is the more androgenic and least anabolic of the SARMs in the market.

Fat oxidation is triggered when androgenic hormones or SARM binds with the androgen receptors in your adipose tissue or fat (yes, our fat contain androgen receptors too).

Andarine is exceptional at strengthening, preserving and building bone mass. It is selective and exhibits no apparent prostate action. What are Andarine’s side effects?

S-4 is a little suppressive at high doses. Comparably, it is not as suppressive as LGD-4033, but it’s more than Ostarine. Even though modified mini-pct is said to be excellent for recovery, using of supplements like HCGenerate is sufficient to address the little suppression caused.

It binds to the ocular receptors in the eye to create a faint yellow tint, which sometimes makes it difficult to adjust to darkness; though this is not prevalent among those experimenting with S-4, and it proves short-term as it goes away after discontinuing its use. It does not aromatize into estrogen; thus it requires no inhibitor on cycle.

Andarine dosages and cycles

(S-4) has a half-life of 4 hours, and daily dose recommendation is 50-75mg and tolerable at 100mg, but it’s good to start with a small dosage and increase gradually to minimize possible side effects. You can take it 2-times daily or even 3-times. You can take Andarine optimally for 8-weeks long, it is not hepatotoxic unlike oral steroids and similar drugs, and you don’t have to fear any problem with your liver.

Cycle recommendation: Using Andarine, I suggest you really have a feel out process after 50mgs/ED and check if your vision side effects are low or something that feels uncomfortable to handle. If it’s fine, keep move up until you hit 70mg, otherwise scale back down to under 50mgs/ED.
