Update:  We have incorporated a new fish oil product called Caladrol 500.  It is my recommendation over Romega.

Caldrol 500 | Wax Ester | 180 capsules | Calanus Oil

Romega herring oil is the superior form of fish oil.  This has to be the most CROWDED category of them all when it comes to supplements.  So many supplement companies sell fish oil.  One claiming to be better than the next.  Well after about 2 months researching which fish oil is the best and using my expertise knowledge of manufacturing supplements I am now ready to recommend which fish oil BRAND you should use.

The fish oil that I recommend is something from a company called Scoular and they make a brand called ROMEGA herring oil.

Here are the benefits vs regular fish oil

Fresh from the cold, deep arctic waters of Norway, Romega herring oil™ is a DHA-rich omega-3 oil purified from choice, Golden Norwegian herring caviar. • Romega™ is a combination of Omega-3 triglycerides and the highly

• Romega herring oil™ is a combination of Omega-3 triglycerides and the highly sought after Omega-3 phospholipids (PL), widely considered to be the most bioavailable form (30% and 50% PL grades available). • This marine product is a cost-effective next generation Omega-3 ingredient for nutraceutical, functional food, and cosmeceutical applications.

Taking it a step further with my reviews by recommending a BRAND!

Remember I’m a supplement expert with over 15 years experience in buying and manufacturing supplements.  Anyone can recommend a supplement but isnt the next question always, “What BRAND is the best?”.  Well that is the problem.  Because you wont know unless you ask an expert.  Asking this question on a forum only gets you amateur consumer responses which is quite frankly a ridiculous way to take a recommendation with something you’re putting into your body.  But you’re in luck because I am a REAL supplement expert.  I have over 10 years dealing with FDA lawyers, manufacturing consultants, employing dietary supplement experts, knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations 111’s for dietary supplements, and much more!  I am a qualified supplement expert manufacturer, not just a science guy.  I am the real deal when it comes to recommending quality supplements because I take it a step further and recommend a brand and give you the reason(s) why!

My recommendation for a fish oil product is called ROMEGA herring oil (this is the brand of oil, not the name of the supplement) and here are the reasons

  • Digestibility – a burp-free phospholipid formula.
  • Bioavailability – a potent delivery of EPA & DHA. Accelerated absorption & utilization due to natural emulsion qualities of phospholipids
  • Bioaccretion – efficient delivery of EPA & DHA and enhanced uptake into cellular membranes and key organs.
  • Rich in Phospholipids – contains membrane friendly Omega-3 phospholipids and choline, an important neurotransmitter.
  • Rich in DHA-Phospholipid – offers the highest level of DHA bound to PL and the highest level of EPA+DHA bound to phospholipids, greater than leading krill products.
