A New Sweetener To Replace Stevia??

A few months ago I talked about how you should get away from the idea that your protein shake should taste like a Milk Shake. But as I went down the roads of research I stumbled across a new sweetener invented in Japan. I’m getting samples in and I’ll let you know of my results.

This new sweetener is called Allulose which is 100% all natural from what I can determine right now, and should be making its way to the market.

The Japanese whom invented it conducted studies relating to weight loss and effects and insulin and everything is coming up Okie Dokie.

If you do want to try it keep in mind that you will most likely have to use a lot of it in your protein powder.  For example with stevia, all you need to do is put about 1 gram per pound of protein powder, put it in a bag, shake it up really good and you have yourself a sweetener protein powder.  With allullose you will not be able to do that.  You will have to use about 1/3 cup of protein powder and about 1 tbs of allulose.  This is really a rough estimate, because I dont know how much of a sweet taste everyone like.  Once I get it in I’ll be able to tell.

You can buy it on Amazon right now.
