It is the key to muscle. High-quality protein will have a high concentration of BCAA’s which are the building blocks of muscle. Do not overlook this simple fact that the body cannot make BCAA’s. You must consume them. Whey protein contains high levels of BCAA’s. That is why it “works” so well. 1 scoop of whey protein typically will contain about 10 grams of BCAA. Therefore, because of this, there is no need to buy free form amino acid BCAA’s. (Our Advanced BCAA’s are NOT free form amino acids) . Please stop wasting your money on BCAA supplements that are free form amino acids.
Your first choice is our 5lbs Whey Isolate. Easy to mix, tastes good.
After that, you want some Heliogen Casein to mix with the whey isolate. This will provide you with a slow release protein. I highly recommend getting both a whey isolate and casein and mixing the two. We know that this blend is the best for building muscle and losing fat at the same time.
What to watch out for: Spiked Protein #1. If you see glycine, taurine, creatine, or hydrolyzed gelatin on the label, AVOID IT. #2. Protein with a nutrition facts panel instead of supplement facts panel. #3 Soy
Simply consuming protein only is good for fat loss, but if you want to build muscle and lose fat at the same time you ALWAYS want to add carbs to your protein shake. I always recommend blended green veggies, but a lot of people cannot stand the taste. Thus, the best choice from us would be Oatmuscle. Use Oatmuscle with our whey isolate & Heliogen casein. The Oatmuscle will spare amino acids from being chewed up as energy. Many people make the mistake at consuming ONLY protein. For most of us, this will chew up the protein powder for energy. Forget about building muscle if you consume protein ONLY as well.
What to watch out for: Maltodextrin and Dextrose. Commonly used carb powders that are seen in weight gain formulas, meal replacement formulas, and even weight loss formulas. I never, ever recommend these powders unless you’re 18 and want to bulk up.
Everyone should do at least one cycle of creatine twice a year. It will jolt some muscle growth and fat loss in the body. Men, women, young, and old. The product simple works.
What to watch for. Using creatine with caffeine, underdosed creatine (less the 3 grams per serving), creatine supplements that are NOT creapure.
Pre workout supplements are important, but you have to make sure you get the one’s that are actually beneficial, healthy, and effective. The best pre workouts are ones that contain high levels of nitrates. Nothing is higher than our Tectanic Red
What to watch out for. Pre Workouts that contain caffeine, free form amino acids, and useless ingredients such as synthetic vitamins. Remember people, give your body something healthy. Not these caffeine-laced pre workouts that pray on the mass market because supplement companies want them to FEEL it working. It is a giant scam.
Those are your staple supplements to have in your cabinet. The most important thing to remember is to get QUALITY and don’t be fooled on marketing hype. If you’re still being sold on the juiced up bodybuilding recommending products, the hot fitness girl on Instagram or guys for that matter, before and after pictures, bogus science, then you need to wake up and smell the coffee.
Take what I am about to say very HEAVY!
No new supplements have been invented since Myo-T12 and most recently our Tectanic Red. Meaning that everything being sold today is old. Not one single company has invented a new supplement since Myo T12. So forget looking for the latest and greatest NEW supplement. It is more about finding quality and making sure that the supplements you buy are coming from a company that does not lab test their supplements.
