Fat Loss Supplements That Work But You’ll Never Be Able To Buy, Sad But True

It is that time of year again, the time to look yourself in the mirror and say.  Hey, time to get a six pack or get my six pack back!

Of course to help your cause, you can turn to bodybuilding supplements and fat burners.  Too bad the ones on the retail shelf all suck and don’t work.  The good stuff & yes they are out there, unfortunately are NOT available on the retail shelf.  And if they are they are underdosed, counterfeit, or just plain don’t contain what they say on the label that should be in the bottle.    I have compiled a list of my top 7 favorite fat burning supplements you can’t buy and their evil counter parts.  Evil counter parts you say!!!  You know like how Super-mans arch nemesis was Lex Luther, and Batman was the Joker.  I have given you the fat loss supplements I like and then essentially the rip off version or scam product that companies come out with.

  • This is an extract of the lychee fruit.  It has some great studies showing how it reduces body fat.  It’s the world’s only pre digested super fruit so the bioavailability is very high.

  1. Raspberry Ketones. Another super fruit but complete garbage from China.  No studies and no real world results.  Amazon sells about 50 different kinds.

  • Advantra-Z. Believe it or not but this is the only dietary supplement that has thermogenic proof behind it.

  1. Caffeine.  Helps make you fat and lose muscle. Most people don’t realize that this is a big NO hat fool in their fat loss diet!  Do NOT use caffeine regularly…it will hinder your fat loss goals

Best macronutrient to lose fat

  • Saturated Fat. Not really a dietary supplement but eating the fat of steak and other meats is good.  Don’t be afraid to eat the fat.

  1. CLA. Looks great on paper, looks great with the studies behind it, unfortunately I don’t know one single person whom has ever had results with CLA.


  • Capsimax. Shown to be thermogenic.  Good quality control.  But you just have to find the real stuff in the real dose.  Very hard to do.  You have to really do your research

  • Cognizine (citicholine). Great stuff that suppresses the appetite.  Can be useful so you don’t feel your starving.

  • Green-Tea Extract. Good if you can find the real stuff.  So much Chinese material that is low quality.

Best L-Carnitine

  • L-Carnipure.  This is a form of L-carnitine.  It’s the real good stuff and what you should look for if you want to mess around with L-carnitine for fat loss

Chinese L-carnitine.  If you don’t get Carnipure then most likely your experimentation with L-carnitine for fat loss will fail

Finally, one last note to watch out for when you are buying fat loss supplements.  A lot of companies are slick and will use the ingredients above in their supplements but then under dose them.  For example, here is a popular selling supplements on bodybuilding.com right now.  It’s a fat burner and here are the supplement facts.

Hey look, they used one of my favorite fat burning supplements ADVANTRA Z!! WTF they only used 20mg.  Wait a second, if  you go to https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3444973/

They recommend this.

……. suggests a daily range between 100 and 120 mgs of synephrine divided over 2-3 servings per day 

Ok, so that means I need to take about 20 capsules of this stuff to get the recommended dosage for this to be effective.  Here this supplement give you a measly 20mg.

This is a classic example on an under dosed supplements.  Granted they put in freakin 200mg of caffeine to get you wired to make you THINK its working because you feel it supplement trick!  If I took 5 servings of this stuff I would be overdosing myself with 1000mg of caffeine!  This supplement sucks!!

So be careful when you buy these supplements because you could be getting a dose that won’t be effective at all.
