The Best Pre Workout Stack | Top 3 For A Better Workout

When it comes to finding the best pre workout supplements, most people think of getting that “wired” feeling.  This wired feeling comes from caffeine.  The supplement industry has driven home to the muscle seeking community that we need to be wired to workout.  All I can say this is the WORST idea to hit the sports nutrition industry EVER!  [clickToTweet tweet=”You do not NEED caffeine to workout. You do not need caffeine to build muscle. Caffeine is counter productive.” quote=”You do not NEED caffeine to workout. You do not need caffeine to build muscle. Caffeine is counter productive.”]You do not NEED caffeine to workout.  You do not need caffeine to build muscle.  Caffeine is counter productive.  Caffeine releases cortisol ( a muscle wasting hormone) in your body.  I wrote more about it here.   Simply put, you’re a fool if you’re using caffeine pre-workout and/or pre-workout supplements that have caffeine in them.

So when it comes to the best pre workout stack you want the following:

A)  Carbs.  Carbs are the fuel the body needs.  It’s the gasoline for the body!  Without carbs, you will have low energy.  I laugh at people that tell me they have low energy.  I ask them what they eat, and they say they drank some pre-workout powders.

B)  Pump.  I love the pump and if I don’t get one I feel like my workout was not effective.  The blood rushes to the muscle to provide it with nutrients and battle damage.  You want the pump.

I have put together a great stack to take pre workout.

Carbs

My Oatmuscle.  I invented Oatmuscle years ago, and I was the first company to market a non-corn carb powder on the market.  It is a great carb for energy and won’t make you fat.

Now for the best pre workout pump.

When we talk about pump, we are talking about products and/or ingredients that have been proven to support nitric oxide levels in the body.  When this happens more, blood is flowing to our muscles.

First is this amino acid combo product.  Don’t be fooled by cheap alternatives.  This company has the best brand of amino’s coming from the best Japanese manufacturers.  Check out the research on this combo of amino acids and it’s results on nitric oxide levels in the body.  Great product for a better pump.

Kyowa Hakko Receives Patent on L-Citrulline and L-Arginine Combination to Rapidly Increase Blood Flow

December 1, 2014, New York, NY

Kyowa Hakko Bio Co. Ltd. today announced it has received a patent for the combination of the amino acids L-Citrulline and L-Arginine. The patent protects the use of L-Citrulline and L-Arginine in formulations used to rapidly and effectively increase blood L-Arginine levels.

L-Arginine is an amino acid critical to the production of nitric oxide (NO) in the body. NO helps regulate and improve blood circulation. L-Citrulline is a major precursor to L-Arginine and has been shown in other studies to increase L-Arginine levels, and thus improve NO production.

“We measured blood L- Arginine levels and Nitric Oxide levels 40 minutes and 60 minutes after amino acids administration. At both time points, the combination of L-Citrulline and L-Arginine had a better effect than the single amino acids,” said Ryusuke Nakagiri, Senior Director of Strategic Science at Kyowa Hakko USA.

A related animal study published in November in Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications showed L-Citrulline plus L-Arginine supplementation caused a more rapid increase in plasma L-Arginine levels and marked enhancement of NO bioavailability, including plasma cGMP (Cyclic guanosine monophosphate) concentrations than with dosage with the single amino acids.1

This is the BRAND I recommend that you get to make sure you’re getting the stuff from the study above.

Next is glycocarn for our best pre workout supplements.

One of the first proven products to help support nitric oxide levels.  Make sure you read this for more info

glycocarn

You have to be super careful with this stuff because it is expensive and you need about 3 to 4 grams per day.  Don’t look for cheaper versions.  The company that makes it has the patents on it.

Next the maqui berry extract.  Our Deltropin 100.  This product is an extract that will help out

Directions.

Take all of these supplement with a meal about 45 minutes before you workout.  Combine with Beet Juice.  Best choice, of course, is to buy fresh organic beets and juice them.  If not blend them.  If you can’t do that, then buy some beet juice in the refrigerator section of your health food store or Whole Foods type store.

Optional.  This “pump” tip comes from Dr. Colker.  Take 1/2 tsp of table salt and mix it in with the beet juice.  Sodium is a great carrier for nutrients to get a better pump.

In conclusion, if you are wanting the best pre workout supplements you can buy you want to avoid the ones that combine creatine and caffeine.  If a supplement company does this you know that they clearly have no idea what they are doing when it comes to formulating supplements.
