When It Comes To Sports Nutrition Supplements, How Come Porn Stars Sell More Than Nerds?

I was answering a question about pre-workout supplements this morning via text message when someone told me they were taking one of those common pre-workout supplements you can buy form one of those common supplement sites.  You know, the one with the ridiculous marketing claims and 250 mg of caffeine or more.  I looked it up and the ad for it said.,  ” it’s like feeding your muscle with a fire hose”.  Typical right? When are supplement users going to stop falling for this shit?  I quickly looked over the supplement facts for this product, which lead me to Instagram and another company.  This company was of a course one of those hardcore supplement companies with products promising steroid-like gains, and selling methamphetamines etc.  Their Instagram feed had a image of the owner of the company driving a Lamborgini or Ferrari and scantily clad women all over it.  They even had a porn star in their feed because they teamed up with her in creating a “sexual” line of supplements.  Of course, my mind drifts to…..fucking A man, look at the success this company is having?  Maybe I should start using porn starts and girls making squat videos to sell my products?  Then I slapped myself in the face, banged my head on my desk, and said to myself, “Are you fucking crazy, wake up, this is the shit, that I am totally against.”  But then I had to ask myself, “Do porn stars sell more supplements than nerds?”  And here is what I mean.

pornstar

This is a picture of the porn star on her Instagram feed with her sexual supplement.  I had to black out things to hide their identity and to prevent my ass from legal action, but in this picture, she is bent over licking the supplement bottle.

Now take a look at this picture.  Some balding nerd in glasses.

nerd

Now my question to you is…Why do porn stars and squat videos sell more supplements in the sports nutrition industry than nerds?  How come people wanting to increase muscle mass are more inclined to buy supplements from squat videos and guys using a ton of gear, than a nerd that makes an educational video, scientifically explaining why a food, vitamin, or supplement will work or not?

Are sports nutrition buyers just dumb and gullible?  Are sports nutrition buyers just that hard up to look like steroid users that they’ll take his/her word over scientific research?  Do squat videos on Instagram somehow trigger people to click the buy button on a website?  Does a supplement company CEO driving a fast and expensive car make you want to buy his supplement?  WTF kind of marketing is this?  Someone with a degree in marketing from Harvard please explain this to me?  Because honestly, I really think they do, or we would not keep seeing them dominate the sports nutrition industry like we do.

For me, personally, I like listening to this nerd above.  And he has some great videos, specifically about pre workout.

Check out his videos on beets and sports performance.  Granted it’s not going to stimulate your pecker, but it is a helluva a lot more educational and SMART!!

That is how this whole blog post started with a customer asking me about what I recommend for pre workout.  I told him tectanic redBeetroot powder is better than any pre-workout supplement you can buy.  I recommend that and to combine it with beet juice.  You can either make it or buy it from Amazon.com

You can simply get Tectanic Red and mix it with the beet juice and I can guarantee you that this will be better than any key-lime cherry flavored pre workout loaded with caffeine pimped by some girl that puts it next to the ground as she does squats with booty shorts on next to the supplement company owner driving a Mercedes Benz.

BTW, I reminded this customer that don’t be fooled by the caffeine trick.  Which is actually the cortisol hormone kicking in giving you energy.

In conclusion, buy from nerds, not porn stars and guys dressed in fancy suits and driving fast and expensive cars.
