4 Simple Things To Do To Trigger Fresh New Muscle

To build muscle, you need to be anabolic.  Anabolic is muscle building.  That is how to grow muscle, being anabolic.  You can achieve this by eating protein or taking anabolic steroids.  Of course, you do not want to take steroids, so eating protein at numerous times is a way to be anabolic.  However, that anabolic effect is very short lived.  Taking something like whey protein is anabolic, which is also how to grow muscle, but it only lasts a couple of hours.  This makes building muscle naturally, tough.  It takes months and months to build 5 lbs of muscle.  If you’re an old guy at 43 years of age myself it is very hard, however, 18-year-old males to 25 have the easiest time because they have the most natural testosterone floating around their bodies.  It is still difficult don’t get me wrong, but it is the most natural in one’s lifetime.  As you get older, and your natural testosterone levels decline, and it makes it harder to build muscle.  But all if not lost because there is a way to build muscle and reduce body fat without having the T levels of an 18-year-old or taking steroids.  If you try this, you may just put on some fresh new muscle.

The way to do this is to be anti-catabolic.  Being catabolic is very bad if you’re looking to build muscle and reduce fat.  In fact, catabolic hormones are much stronger than anabolic.  If you can be ANTI-CATABOLIC, then someone awesome might just happen to your physique.

Think about this.  How long did it take you to build 5 lbs of muscle or increase your bench by 10 lbs?  But then what happens when you get sick or stop lifting for a week or two. How to grow muscle.

  1. Avoid caffeine.  Caffeine triggers a release of catabolic hormones in the body.  If you need a boost of energy before your workout give the body its FUEL, which is carbs.  It never ceases to amaze me when people say to me…”I have no energy, why is that?”.  I then ask them what their carb intake is or what they had for breakfast.  Most of the time they’ll say a cup of coffee and a protein shake.  You NEED carbs.  Something like our Oatmuscle is a very good carb choice for morning and day long energy, not this 5-hour energy shot bullshit.
  2.
